StarMaker Models/Talent & Casting is a division of StarMaker
Productions, Inc. ("StarMaker" or "we"). StarMaker takes your
privacy seriously. Earning and maintaining your trust is important
to us. We want you to understand what information we gather from
you, how this information is used and protected, and what choices
you have about how your information is used. This Privacy Policy
discloses the privacy practices of the StarMaker websites (including
www.starsusa.com, www.starsusa.net,
and www.starmaker.info) (individually or collectively, the
"Website") and the StarMaker Model & Talent Database. PLEASE READ
THIS PRIVACY POLICY CAREFULLY BEFORE PROVIDING ANY PERSONAL
INFORMATION TO STARMAKER. BY USING THE WEBSITE OR LISTING YOUR
INFORMATION IN OUR DATABASE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ALL OF THE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY.
You understand and agree that the personal information and photographs either provided by you and/or taken by a StarMaker photographer may be publicly viewable by all users of the Website.
We do not post your address, phone, contact information, social
security number or any billing information or credit card numbers on
the Website.
You are free to visit and use certain aspects of the Website without
providing any personal information. However, in order to access
certain content or to participate in certain services provided
through the Website such as having StarMaker post your photo and
profile on the Website, you are required to register and/or provide
StarMaker with personal information. From time to time we may submit
you, individually as well as with other models and/or talent listed
on the Website to casting directors, producers, agents, companies
and/or individuals who have contacted StarMaker or if StarMaker
feels that you are a model and/or talent that the casting director,
producer, agent, photographer, company or individual may be
interested in using for the purpose of securing models and/or talent
for their assignments. The assignments may be paid or unpaid.
StarMaker may be required to provide your personal
information in order to submit you for those assignments, auditions
and/or castings. By listing your information and/or photo on the
Website and/or the StarMaker Database you give StarMaker permission
to provide your information to casting directors, producers, agents,
companies and/or individuals who StarMaker feels can use the models
listed on the Website or the StarMaker Database for their
assignments.
The Website may also provide you with features that require specific
information to be provided in order to use that feature. For
example, we may offer you the ability to sign up to receive
newsletters or other alerts to be sent to your email address or cell
phone and would ask for that contact information to deliver you the
service you requested.
All information submitted by you on the Website will be covered by
this Privacy Policy, whether or not you complete your registration
or purchase of services. The personal information we might request
from you may include your name, address, email address, phone number
and, if you are making a purchase of goods or services, your billing
and credit card information. Providing StarMaker with your personal
information is strictly voluntary.
In order for you to be listed with StarMaker and to market you effectively for assignments in modeling, tv commercials, films, film extras, magazines, photography, fashion, promotional modeling, voice overs, and any other aspect of the modeling or commercial industry we may require some or all of the following information: full name, name of parents or guardian if person listed is a minor, complete address, phone numbers, e-mail address, date of birth, social security number, race, languages that you speak, hobbies, physical description, experience in the industry, etc. The use of race is used exclusively for placing the model and/or talent in the proper role or part as requested by the producer, casting director, agent, company or individual that will be using the model and/or talent and for no other purpose. The social security number is used for the purpose of providing companies who may be considering using you for one of their paid assignments with information required so that you can be paid. By listing on the Website or StarMaker Database you agree to grant StarMaker explicit consent to divulge such information.
Cookies and Log files
We may use cookies to store preferences you select while visiting
the Website. These cookies are pieces of information that may be
sent by our website to your browser and are stored on your
computer's hard drive. For example, by providing a cookie on your
hard drive, it is possible for you to return to the Website with the

prizes you may win in contests or sweepstakes you choose to enter;

us to improve the Service and for our business generally. In
addition, by submitting your personal information, you grant us

mail) with marketing offers, additional information, on behalf of
our services or with offers provided by third parties that we think

agents engaged by StarMaker to provide certain services, such as
bulk text messaging or email delivery. Information will be shared
with such contractors only to the extent reasonably necessary for
them to perform services on our behalf, and pursuant to reasonable
confidentiality obligations. We may share your personal information
with casting directors, producers, agents, photographers, clients
and others that are seeking models and/or talent for their
assignments or other promotions on the Website. Since we may
be submitting many models and/or talent for each assignment,
audition or casting we may not notify you at the time of the sharing
of your information.
We may offer our users the ability to upload their own information
or content to certain areas of the Website or as part of other
features of the Website. By posting your photo and any personal
information on the Website, you understand and agree that the
personal information may be publicly viewable by users of the
Website and that we may use it in accordance with this Privacy
Policy.
We may also disclose personal information if we have a good faith
belief that the law requires it (such as in connection with a
subpoena, court order etc.), to protect the rights, safety or
property of our users, of StarMaker or third parties, or if we
believe that you have violated this Privacy Policy or the Terms of
Service, or if we believe such disclosure will prevent a crime from
occurring. We may also transfer personal information to a successor
to the Website in connection with a merger, consolidation, asset
sale or other corporate change regarding the Website.
Security
StarMaker uses reasonable security methods to protect the user data
that we collect and store. However, no security system is
impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our servers, or
the web providers we may use nor can we guarantee that information
that users supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to
us and/or to clients over the Internet.
